What is the history of the appearance of these PV solar panels?

Before starting the serial production of this PV panel, there were 18 months of research and development. The developer set himself a 2 main goals:

  1. The first – invest in the NetZero 2040 target, helping reduce CO2 emissions and popularize solar energy.

  2. The second – make solar energy and PV panels easier and available for British people.

Inspired by these, the company presents its first, but not last offer on the commercial market, which may be used as PV solar panels and substitute for traditional concrete tile.

Which benefits new PV given for the global market

There are a lot of benefits that these new PV panels give to the global market:

The first and the main benefit – it`s a new competitive product that increases offers on the global solar PV panels market and makes it more available for customers. At now there is no fixed price for the product, but we already know that one panel will give 455 W of power.

The second and also necessary benefit is the possibility of using panels instead of concrete tiles. Such a decision decreases the final cost of the build and increases its efficiency. Russell Roof Tiles has already made significant steps towards our goals by procuring 100 percent renewable electricity at all three manufacturing sites, giving an example for other factories.

Dan Hancox, Corporate Sustainability and Development Director, comments “Our market-leading offer will provide a 15-year roof system guarantee when it is installed as part of a full RussSpec, and fitted following our guidance, in addition, our solar PV panels will provide a market-first 30-year performance guarantee.”
