Which plans do companies have for West London project development
If the project is approved, will be built a new 60,000 sq ft Asda Store with several apartments built on a landscaped podium above.
Predict that 500 new games will be available for customers, and a majority of them will have a dual aspect.
The residential aspect will be designed for car free, but Asda customers will have 400 parking spaces.
“This transaction is a sign that there is still land to be unlocked in the capital and reflects one of the market’s largest land transactions since 2019.” – said Craig Carson, managing director of Barratt West London.
“The redevelopment of Park Royal will have a huge impact on the area. With the new town center unlocking new commercial opportunities for local businesses and providing a new hub for the local community.”
Which benefits do companies wait to receive
The main idea of this project is to give a new life to Old Oak and Park Royal. For the architect’s plan, the building and delivery of 1,500 new houses will play a vital role in the development of West London and unlock new necessary buildings in Ealing. Also, construction companies expect that besides residential areas new projects also will interest commercial customers.
The proposals, which would allow space for complementary businesses to open new units, is Asda’s first mixed-use redevelopment of an established store site.
Ian Lawrence, head of mixed-use developments at Asda, said: “Asda’s venture into mixed-use property re-development marks a significant milestone for the business. By working with leading developers like Barratt London, we can maximize the full potential of our property portfolio for the first time.”
