Where it is used

Stable surfaces for demanding applications.

Cement boards are widely used when a reliable and stable base is required. That makes them a strong fit for wet-area work, external cladding and other demanding installation environments.

Façades and external walls Use as a dependable cladding base on exposed surfaces.
Bathrooms and kitchens Ideal where moisture resistance is a priority.
Walls, ceilings and partitions Helps create a level substrate before decorative finishing.
Concrete surface protection Useful where extra durability and stability are needed.

Technical datasheet

Beam Fiber Cement Board EU TDS summary.

The supplied datasheet describes the board as a non-combustible, durable, asbestos-free cement board for finishing applications, dry lining, suspended ceilings and flooring.

Applications and features

The datasheet highlights interior wall cladding, roof underlay, soffit and eaves lining, false ceilings, partition walls, drywall systems and dry lining as core uses.

Non-combustible Listed as asbestos free and suitable for demanding finishing work.
Impact resistant Built for practical trade applications with minimal maintenance.
Thermal insulation Presented in the datasheet alongside moisture and termite resistance.
Easy installation Suitable for electrical saw cutting and standard screw fixing methods.

Board composition

The PDF describes a cement-based board made from Portland cement, high-purity silica sand, reinforcing pulp, water and performance additives.

Portland cement Provides structural strength and durability.
Silica sand Improves flexural strength and fills small voids in the mix.
Recycled reinforcing pulp Improves impact resistance and flexibility.
Additives Increase resistance to fire and moisture.
